After

Something just ended. You don't have to know what it meant yet.

Most things end without a conclusion. The conversation stops, the day closes, the thought runs out — and you’re just standing there, slightly unfinished.

After is one screen for that moment. It doesn’t ask what happened. It doesn’t summarise what you did.

There’s a pause. Then one line, held still long enough to read properly. The line doesn’t interpret you or tell you what the moment meant — it just sits beside it.

And often there’s no line at all. If what you just read or wrote was already light enough, After adds nothing and simply lets the screen breathe. Silence here isn’t an empty state; it’s the whole idea.

Then a quiet way out. Nothing is saved. Nothing is closed. You leave with the thing still open, which is usually how it actually is.

What it isn’t

Not a summary. Not a rating of how it went. Not a nudge toward what’s next.

Nothing here is about the future, an action, or improvement. There is no history, no settings, no analytics.

When people open it

Right after a hard conversation ends. The gap between finishing work and being a person again. After the last message, when you’re still holding the phone. Any moment that stopped without resolving.
